I30 >> I35 Conversion

What body parts of the car must be changed to get the I35 look? Anything in the interior? Has anyone done this, any pics?

the interior is front seats, steering wheel, back seats, gearbox, headlamps, tail lights, side skirts, front grill, and all the wood trimmings. Im trying to do a i35 front conversion if not maybe even a maxima front conversion.

A Maxima conversion would be a PITA. You would need to change out just about everything form the front doors up. and even then things may not match up. None of the skins are the same.

For I30 to I35 exterior (a lot is slightly different on the interior) you would need headlights, tails, and the rear, center section. To the best of my knowledge the rest is the same.

Well I dont care about the interior much but for the exterior I will need to change headlamps, tail lights, side skirts, front grill, is that all? Does the trunk need changing to?

Like I said, you will need the center section (between the tails) too... and if it's not included with the center section you will need the "Infiniti" plaque as well. I believe the trunk is the same.

Trunk emblems and door handles (02-04 has body-color matched door handles). Interior is another story, a BIG PITA. My new coworker has a 2001 I30t and I gave him a ride in mine and he noticed a crap load of differences.

HOMERmac, if i somehow end up with a 4th gen max or 98/99 I30t we are going to have to do a deal on some headlight for me. It would be too expensive if i try it myself and F#$K UP
