Got the 7" screen installed

I finally got my 7" Microvision installed in the I30. I had to cut a nice chunk of plastic off of the side of the screen to get it to fit inside the brackets. The speakers sound like hell cause they are getting double amped...I am debating on getting new speakers or getting a PAC. Here is a pic of the install, let me know what you think.

Assuming the screen is much brighter without a camera flash.... Very Nice!!! I've debated long and hard over whether I want to do this and you just made me think maybe I want to...

that looks great...way cleaner than my set up... do you think it would be possible to do the same with an 2000? can you post some tips or a little trouble shooting. what kind of screen is that? how hard was it and i get a little freaked out when you start talking about cutting the sides of the screen....this is my set up http://clearcutaudio.com/infinitiint.htm

I definately wanted something clean and somewhat factory looking. I did not take any pics of the install and wish I had. The screen is the Microvision 7" MTV-7000BCT and is quite a bargain at $170. The install is pretty straightforward except for some minor troubles. I had to take a 1/2" notch off of the upper right corner of the screen. I didn't see any other way the screen could go in unless I made some new side brackets. PM me if you are having troubles and I can try and give a hand.

Sould get a double DIN sized screen and relocate your car comp to the glove box. You'll have to make your own dash piece around the screen though.

I wanna get the Eclipse AVN2454 too expensive for now tho.
