T or not T how do I tell?

Aside from the T emblem on the trunk is there another way to tell a Touring car from a std. when I ran the carfax on my car it came up as touring. Does one of the VIN numbers indicate Touring? Its a fairly well loaded car with side air bags, moon roof and the perforated leather seats and wood trim and the car doesn't spin as easily as my 98 GXE Maxima did so I hope that indicates posi which would be nice.

posi?? ahhem... dont you mean limited slip? We are not back yard chevy hillbillies here.

All of the stuff you mentioned are not T only features... call the dealer and give them your VIN to find out.

There could have been if I could do a search. When I carfaxed the car it came up as touring and I know that adds considerably to the cars value.

On the POSI, yes I do mean limited slip. I have owned POSI or LOCKERS before and know the difference but limited slip just doesn't sound as good.

What year is it? Some of the 99s (maybe 98s also) had side aire bags on the "Limited" model, which was similar to the Touring model, except for the fact that I do not believe that the Limited ever had a 5MT option.

I am aware of what you ment by posi. I was inferring to the notion that chevy hillbillies refer to an LSD as a "paasee trakshin".

Mine does have the side air bags, wood trim and perforated leather seats. It definitely feels more like it has LSD and better handling than my 98 Maxima which had identical mileage and really the Max was in better condition as my wife takes incredible care of here cars and we bought the Max new. 17 yr old girl pulled out in front of the Max on 12/23/04 and I bought her this I30 to replace it. The I30 is nice but she misses her Max.
