Infiniti I30 Euro Fog Lamps

I just got my 1996 Infiniti I30 Euro Fog Lamps in the mail today. Each one is heavy as hell, so I know that they are made with real glass, which is cool, and they look well put together. The only problem I have with them is that they look identical to the original factory fog lamps in my opinion.

Now, normally, I would be pissed, but to be honest with you, they cost $35 or so for the pair, they are brand new, they are real thick glass, and they look well put together. If nothing else, I got a new set of the original fog lamps at a great price and can now swap out my original ones which have almost 10 years of wear and chips and scuffs on them and it didn't cost me much.

Now, before someone posts something that says, this is worthless without pictures, I have tried to find out how to post pictures on here since I joined, but now one ever told me, so if you want to see pictures, then send me a private message and I will email them to you. Other than that I don't know how to show you pictures.

Anyway, I just thought I would update you all on what these Euro Fog Lamps looked like and the quality of them.

if you have your pictures uploaded onto a website, like www.cardomain.com (which is free to register and use) you can post pics here. they must be on some website first hosted before you can post on here. then, you right click the image, get the url for it...then you put the link for the pic inside these:

that's how you put pics on here. hope that makes sense.

where did you get the lamps from? my dad has an I30 and one lamp on each side is chipped and filling with water. $35 for replacements is pretty cheap, and if they're glass, even better. or if you want to sell your old ones for cheap, i would be interested. My dad is planning on selling his soon. (it's a '99, they should fit right?)

Mixmax, the site is www.headlightswholesale.com, they're at the bottom of the page after you choose your vehicle's specifics, listed as Euro Clear Fog Lights, $35 a pair. Very good deal, mine are on the way, and I'm considering buying another pair to experiment with on projector and HID setups

Homer, we really don't need pics. The Euro fog lights look identical to your original ones. I got mine in last week and was dissapointed they were not completely clear, but like I said earlier, they are good quality with thick glass lenses and for $35 a pair, I figure I got a great pair of replacement fogs that are brand new and shiny for dirt cheap!

UPDATE ON THESE EURO FOG's!!!!!! THEY ARE DIFFERENT!!!!!!!

I figure out today that the Euro Fog light ARE different than our Stock Fog's. The difference is very subtle, but it is there.

If you look at our OEM fog's you will notice that inside the lamp, where the bulb enters the housing, there is a metal square that covers the tip of the light bulb. I assume this is to reflect the light back to the back of the housing, bounce it off the chrome backing and then reflect it OUT the lense of the fog Lamp.

On the Euro Fog Lamps, there is NO metal square. This means that the light bulb IS NOT covered by this metal square and so I assume that the light output will be brighter in the Euro's.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

BASICALLY, the Euro Fog Lamps ARE different than the OEM Fog Lamps.

Honestly, I would just shell out roughly $35 and save yourself time! Plus then you will have your stock fogs to play with and experiment with. Just my opinion.

Just ordered mine. Can't wait to finally have TWO working foglights. Now all I need is a H3 HID Kit.

yea i was gonna take out hte shield then realized toomuch pain after thinking about it for 5 mins.. but however my project is to find a place that makes glass.. that can make a glass case for the headlights.. the plastic ones dull and scratch with microfine scratches from sand etc... then the projector beam gets strayed a bit in the direction of the headlight angle and the blight output gets dulled... it doesnt look like a crips cristalish ligh from in front..... so im planning on finding someone that can make a glass case... after i fix everything else.. its getitng near the 100,000 ... 2 -3 weeks ago the service engline light came.. on three o2 sensor an knock.. and strutmount... will drop while gettin gmount fixed.. then the radiator flush... andn an oil change..

HomerMAC,

I have a solution for you. You don't need a place that makes a glass case, you can just use Clear GLASS Cefiro Headlights? These are NOT One-piece but two piece headlights (looks identical to the I30 headlight). But these are H-4 housing with Citylight built in. The Headlight and corner lights are separate, but the headlight portion is glass which is good for HID and other higher wattage bulbs.

They will not turn yellow or foggy. But the ONLY BIGGEST draw back is that these are AFTERMARKET headlights and have terrible reflector. But if you are only looking for the Glass headlights.... I think you can careless about the beam pattern cuz.. you are customizing your own projector into it? Email me if you are interested. Thanks

If anybody wants Euro fogs...somebody's selling them for 20 for the pair on ebay. It comes out to be about 30 bucks once you add shipping. I got them from them too and they are brand new. Well packaged, too.

Here's the link...

Yeah, I saw those! Nice deal! I believe the people selling them on Ebay are the same that I purchased them from, only I ordered them directly from the website. They must have started posting on ebay now and are offering them at a great price!! Nice!

I bought the fogs from the site.

Does anyone know where I can get a pair of corner fogs and the bracket that holds the fog lights?
(Long story short, my car came with all of the fog lights broken, at the time i didn't have the $$ to get new ones, so I put some mesh in the holes and threw the bracket away )
