Front Rotors for 2000 I30
Hey,
Does anyone know if front rotors for 2000 I30 tend to warp as they do on Maxima? I need front rotors and I have buddy working at the Infinity dealer, but I dunno anything about the type they use..
Thanks

I know they are mechanically the same.. However, rotors may be made by some other manufacturer so they may be better then OEM maxima rotors.. I don't think Nissan makes their own rotors anyways..
So, here is the question again... Do 2000-2001 I30 front rotors tend to warp alot????
Thanks again.
Nick
They are definately the same as the Max rotors.
Mine are warped to $hit right now. It bugs the hell out of me. These things warp sooo easily. I actually got the dealer to replace them last year free of charge cuz I was so pissed about it.

I just put EBC slotted & dimpled rotors on mine (with red stuff pads) because I was similarly frustrated at the OEM parts and their cost. For a few dollars more, they look awesome (no rusty rotors anymore) and though I haven't had occasion to see how they perform under extreeme braking, I think so far they're great.
I also figured that if I was going to pay for the OEM parts to be put on anyway, I'd take them to the Stealership to be put on. They did it no problem and even put on the braided steel brake lines on the front for me.
Tire Rack had all I needed but I imagine there's other sources as well.

Ok I had occasion to "performance" test them this morning and my eyeballs about popped out as I slammed against the seatbelt. The nice thing is that there's still little to no dust after 1000 miles.
Brembo is an easily reognizable name and is probably good too.

Ok, thanks for your input. Where did you get EBC rotors and how much they were?
I already have OEM pads, but OEM rotors are warped and need to be replaced.
THanks
