Help with removing aftermarket Wood dash kit.....
Hey, has any of you guys put on aftermarket wood kits or dash peices and then took them off? I bought this really nice wood kit for my car like the 2nd day of ownership, and because I had navigation, the kit came in, in small peices and not whole peices. That being said the wood kit was broken up in to little sections to stick here and there and I didn't like that. I ended up using only the pieces that go around the Air Vents and Navigation to give it a nice look but, after driving around for about 4 months now, I don't like it anymore. I want to take off the wood with out stripping the paint off the surfaces of the materials. I already tried to peel off the one of the wood peices over the cup holder on the passenger vent and I took some of the paint off and it looks bad, so any help on taking the wood off properly would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I really have no idea - maybe use a heat gun to soften up the adhesive and then try to peel the pieces off?
Also - go to NICO or Freshalloy and look for "Jason B." He runs burtman industries which sells a lot of kits like that - you could probably ask him the best way to remove those things. He usually hangs out in the Q45 sections.
