How to Replace 97 i30t Fog Light Assembly

I ordered new fog light assemblies, beacuse my old one are filled with water and broken. Does anyone know how to remove the old ones? Or know where I could find out?

Hey, i'm in Fairfax also! hey neighbor!

Anyway, you could look in the chilton book and probably find out, but it is pretty simple. I am at work now, but can give you some more help later.

I gotta find out how to replace it too. Can't wait to get these Euro fogs installed.

Isn't it basically the same as replacing the bulbs except we'd unscrew the bolts holding the assembly? Anything to watch out for?

Thanks.

I just had mine off along with the corner light and bumper. You have to remove the corner light first.

Remove the splash gaurd to gain access to behind the fogs and corner lights.

disconccect the bulps from both the fogs and corner lights.

Peak you head up behind the bunper and look for one bolt holding the corner light to a bracket. Remove bolt

The corner light should then come out. It is only held on my that one screw and a tab on the opposite end.

Now the bolt that holds the fogs in place is visable. Remove the bolt holding the fog light to it's bracket.

The opposite side of the fog is held on by a, for lack of a better work, clip. Just push firmly from behind the back of the fog and it should pop off. You may want to try and use a flat head screw driver to pry that side as well. it should pop off fairly easy, but don't be too forceful, it could crack the assembly.

Repeat to other side.

Reinstall in reverse order.
