Hi,
The part number above is for a 1996 I30 with automatic transmission and
Federal emissions (not a California car.) This will work in a 1998 I30 and
we can upgrade this no problem.

Note: Go to our web site and enter the part # in our products section to
get more information.
ECU upgrade $595.00 on an exchange basis. We remove the top speed limiter,
raise the rev limiter to 7,000 rpm and put in the most aggressive fuel map
and timing curve for 91+ premium fuel. We also optimize the throttle
response code for better throttle response. Call for current turnaround
time. We do offer a core exchange option. The additional refundable core
deposit is $700.00 for the 95-96 model. Call us for more details. ECU
available for 1995-96 at this time only. 97+ TBA. We do have
turbo/supercharger programming available if you are putting together your
own system. Call us for information on this. It is possible to use a
1995-96 I30 ECU into a 97-99 model. Contact us on how this is done.
PMAX9-1X06X Pop-Charger air intake system 1995-1999 I30 $159.00
PMAX0-1XCE1 Pop-Charger air intake system 2000-2003 I30 $159.00
PMAX4-1XC01 Pop-Charger air intake system 2004+ I30 $159.00
ECU and Pop-Charger net about a 20 HP gain together.
AVQ30-000S1 JWT performance billet camshafts for the VQ30DE are available
for $1100.00 for the set of 4 and there is no core charge for these. These
work on 1995-99 models and will work on the 2000-2001 models if used in
conjunction with the JWT heavy duty valve spring/retainer set-up.
AVQ30-SPR00 JWT HD valve spring/retainer for JWT VQ30DE engines is $12.00
each valve spring/retainer and 24 are needed for a total of $288.00 for the
set. These must be used when using JWT VQ30DE cams on the 2000-2001 I30
and are optional on the 1995-99 models.
MCM10-NOMAX CM-100 Engine monitor without max, can show duty cycle, MAF
voltage, MPH, H2O in F. $119.00
MCMX1-WMAX0 CMX-100 Engine monitor with max, can show duty cycle, MAF

With the ECUs it will work fine but...unless you have the EXACT year, you will get a CEL. If you use an auto one in a manual, you will get a CEL. If you use a Maxima one, you will get a CEL. I do not know if a manual ECU will work in an auto.
This whole thing is of some interest to me as well. Since I am doing the manual swap, I WILL have a cell afterwards due to the fact that my auto tranny will no longer be in the car which will trigger about 20 different CELs!!!
So, I can either buy a used 97 I30 Manual ECU (doubt it) or buy a new one from everythingnissan for about $500 (ouch). This will leave me with a stock ECU until JWT can mod the 97+ (if that even ever happens, seeing that it has been several years that they have been saying that), but at least my CELs will be gone.
OR... I could use a 95-99 manual ECU from a Maxima and see if JWT can some how remove the CELs involved. This would be the best option, but I do not know if they can do that or not. Any body know?
Oh yeah, Homermac... I found this on the OFF TOPIC forum on the org. Thought you might like it. Maybe you could use it for your sig!!
