On FSTB

Those who installed FSTB, can you write what improvement you noticed after installing it !?! I just installed mine and am just curious.

The installation was simple except that I needed to buy 22 mm socket instead of 14 or 19 mm as suggested in the maxima.org How-To's here:

https://maxima.org/modules.php?name=FSTB

Or is this unusual that there are 22mm nuts/bolts in there ?!?!?

The strut bar did make a difference, but now my stock shocks/struts are blown and I need to replace them.... FSTBs do make a difference in cornering, but that's if you also have your ride dropped, with stiffer springs. Other than that, you can feel it... but not as greatly. I believe if the strut bar was brought further to the front end of the car it would make a hell of a difference.

22mm nuts are stock. I had to place flat washers under the nuts on either side closest to the engine in order to elevate the strut bar off of the engine components -- especially the A/C high pressure hose.

In fact, I had to rest the FSTB frame on top of the bracket that holds the AC hose in place.

Did not notice that big of a difference in my I30 as compared to how much difference I had with my '92 Max. Of course, it could be because of the shocks in my I30.
