so i got this f*n dent

party at my house and my boy is wasted and he falls into my car...drivers side right above the door handle there is now a dent maybe the size of a baseball (it looks to be pretty round, no crazy contures)....GREAT just what i need...any one use those cheepo dent removal suck/sticky things? do they work...sorry i dont have pics but im looking for advice here...the stealership told me some astronomical amount to fix it, there is no way im doing it there. its just a compression dent from his hip. think i could pop it out from the inside? any suggestions or comments are welcome....my car looks like *** with this dent.

Ive used one called the Ding King or something. It workes alright on some of the nice round shallow dents, which it sounds like yours is, but any sharp dents it doesn't do to well.

They're pretty cheap, so I think it would be worth a try.

I dont think the ding king will work to well on my car right now. When I was at the bar last week, someone ran into my car and just left. My poor baby

If you have a pretty clean, accessible dent free of major paint damage, call up Dent Wizard or whatever outfit provides paintless dent removal in your area. Get them to take a look at it and give you an estimate. They can usually fix it to where it's damn near perfect for a fraction of what a conventional body shop would charge.

I had 3 major ding/dents on my doors and a couple dings on my hood that were all removed for about $130. And you can't even tell they were ever there.

At least check it out..no harm done if they can't fix it.

try pressing it from the inside that works sumtimes, or use a rube mallet to do so, just be gentle so u dont create anymore dents
