Knock Sensor Tightness

Ok its supposed to be 20-25 lbft torque, but i did it the bloody hands way,a dn well quite frankly its bit hard to get an accurate torque rating like that. I tightened it once and then a bit more. My question is what happens if its not tight enough? too much makes it more senstive, i know that, so this would make it less sensitive?

well, you wanna make sure that it is on there decent. If the factory torque spec is only 20-25 then that is not that tight. You could eaisly achive that with just a box end wrench by hand. Just keep working on it. You will enventually get it on there tight. Try removing the air intake all the way up to the throttle body so you can get enough room to get in there.

I don’t know either, why don’t you tell us? Specifically I want to know how's your gas mileage.
I have read a few threads on this before; the Knock Sensor is supposed to help gas mileage. However I haven’t seen any reports by members stating how much it helped them. Would you mind posting your results?

When I replaced my KS along with all 3 o2 sensors, my gas milage increased from 17 MPG to 22 MPG on a the same city/ highway combo...

How much

I need to replace my knock sensor, speed sensor, and the EGR valve. How much should all of these things cost.
