what size is the maf unit? im tryin to put together a custom intake with a apexi filter and tryin to figure out how big the opening is. will the universal 80mm fit?

 

also does anyone know if the intake opening size is the same as a 350z? i have a jwt popcharger and wanted to put it on but i dont wnat to take it all off if it doesn't fit

 

No, the 80mm will not fit. You would need to have an adapter plate to make the apexi fliter fit on the MAF. I got mine from Frankencar

Yhea, it is just a matter of having a plate that bolts to the filter which in turn will allow a coupler to connect the MAF to the Plate. I don't know if Frankencar makes an adapter for a 00+ maxima/I30 though. It is something you could make yourself fairly easily though.

 

i have one from a 2000 maxima from my friends intake he took off
