Damn, those look nice. Any pics installed? I guess the extra key is nice if I park my car in an unknown area or for a long time, but you have to lock and unlock it everytime you want to lock the shifter, right?

Hey Gates,
The anti-theft device to lock the shifter is like "THE CLUB". Only lock it when you want to "CLUB" it. You know what I meant? If you don't lock it, it's just like your stock shifter, you don't need to worry about it. For me, I only use "THE CLUB" (I know it's uselss), when I park for extended period of time in an unfamiliar area.

This would work for Automatic 96-99 Infiniti I30 & 95-99 Nissan Maxima's. The wood grain steering wheel is in Max Mute's hand. They only come with Black leather/Wood trim. I can get one for ya if you wanna change your Airbag color to Black.

The Gray leather one is actually dark enough to match the interior dash for Black interior. Even though our interior is called BLACK interior. Most of the dash pieces are like dark gray, including the carpet, etc.

Wait til Max Mute install this onto his Black/Black I30. You will see how good this would match. But the Beige/Sand leather one is 95% close to the stock beige/Sand interior.

I gave up around 50 mph as he was already 3 or maybe even 4 car lenghts a head. Imagine if we went the 1/4 mile... it would be like 6 or 7.

Normally this would have p!ssed me off big time but since I am going to be dropping in a 5spd this actullay made me happy... kinda like negative reinforcement.

Did you manually shift your automatic...or let it shift for itself?

I just let it shift itself... at WOT the tranny shifts at redline any ways. Shifting the gears myself would have done nothing to help my situation. Even if I torque braked, i doubt it really would have helped... he was just plain gone!! He is an excellent stick driver and before I could even firmly plant my foot into the gas pedal his rear door was at my front bumper ... to say he got a good start was an undersatement.
