well after many burns, cuts, bruises and broken finger nails, i finally have the i30t haedlamps on my I35. i went with these because i think the black surrounds would compliment the Diamond Graphite cars. the lenses needs a servere cleaning. the install was pretty simple. remove the the bolt from inside the fender well, and then the 2 on top, pull the lamp from the inside(highbeams portion of lamps), then slide sideways, and WWWWOOOOO HHHHHOOOOOO, you are holding in your hands a very expensive part of your car.

NEXT PROJECT: paint chrome surround in fog light to match headlapms.

check one of the link for photo's

Yeah very nice. You have more ***** than me, I wouldn't even think about messing with my headlamp housings. My clear bumper lenses are collecting moisture and I haven't even messed with anything. I can't imagine trying to take apart the headlamps. Good job though, looks like a splitting imagine of my car (except the wheels). Keep up the good work, I'll keep checking back on your updates since we have the same car, I can see what other exterior mods I might try.

Do you have any daytime shots with all of your lights on? I would like to see your turn signals on the mirror in action before i decide to go with buying a pair.

thanks

Looks good on yours, I think I'll stick with the titanium on mine.

Have to say though, I LOVE those G35 18s. How's the ride? Are you still on stock suspension? And what tire size are you running?

the ride is slightly rougher than the stock rims, but not bonejarring. i've got 245/18 on the front and 225/18 on the back. i'll switch too 235/18's all the way around when it is time too buy new tires.
the titanium surrounds look better on your car because it is black, on mine it just sit's there.

i'm planning on opening the fogs and painting the chrome black to match the headlamps. or if my contact comes thru, i'll put the A33 maxima foglights on there instead.

Nicely done. The dark surrounds do compliment the rest of the car and the larger wheels are a bonus. How much did you pay for the I30 lights?

The black surrounding headlamps came on the darker colors of the car (Black, dark green, etc.) I have a Silver T and I have the aluminum. They also have lights that come with a slight bronze tint as well.

i paid $250.00 for the pair. got them from a junk yard, they usually keep tabs on certain cars for me. so when those cars come in, i get the first crack at them.

It looks great man!

I will be painting mine black soon, as well as trying to fit some Umnitza DDEs in there (cross your fingers for me). I was also toying with the idea of painting the headlight surrounds body color, but Ive decided to try the black first.

If you do the fogs you should let me know how it goes. I want to put some of those yellow bulb capsules in for super yellow fogs and will prolly paint the surrounds while I have the lamps apart. Ill post my findings if you dont get to it first.

i'm interested in how those body colored lamps will look. as for the fogs i'm contemplating putting the yellow projectors form the QX4's fogs into an I35 fog assembly. that would give it the yellow color as well a unique look, and of course using HID bulbs instead of halogen bulbs to increase the brightness.

Hi, where did you guys buy your clear bumper lenses? I am a new owner and can't seem to find it anywhere on the net. Also, are the fronts the same as the back ones? Just facing a different direction? Thanks

Great! Thanks for the help and welcome. But on their site, it says the clear lenses require modification? CAn anyone chime in difficulty level and/or what is involved?

The info is in the FAQs, and the parts need to be imported from Australia I believe.
