I've never even heard of 210 width tires. At any rate, like Felix said, those tires are too small.

No, communist China makes tire sizes as dictated by the capitalist American companies. *Chinese here*

Are you kidding?! You'd settle for used bent rims rather than pay an extra $150 bucks?! Um...that should be self-explanatory unless I'm missing something here.

How about 18x8 G35 Coupe wheels with MICHELIN Sport Pilots? $900+shipping. Forget these cheap wheels/odd ball chinese tires.

Are you in love with them or are you in a big hurry? I'd save your money and get something you really like no matter what the $$$.

If you really like them and the price fits your budget, then I'd say go for it, but just dont rush into anything. I have to tell myself the same thing all the time. What would those same wheels & tires cost you brand new?

You do not want those tires, 205's on an 18" rim will look silly on the car. Factor in the price of tires you will need to buy as well.

the tires dont look wierd on the rims. i saw them mounted and the sidwalls arent pulled out like they are being stretched on a rim that is too wide. my numbers might be a little fuzzy. he told me they were the most narrow american tire distributers offered in an 18 inch tire with a 35 series sidewall. i just figured they were 205. could be 215 maybe but no wider than that.

Being as nice as I can. You have ALOT to learn about what fits, what's proper, and the difference inbetween what you CAN buy and what you SHOULD buy.

ie.. who cares if it's cheap if you get some no name crappy tires that are WAY too small in diameter. If you do this deal, you will end up paying more getting it right vs doing it right in the first place.

Yeah, I would definately pass on this too. Tires are something you dont want to go cheap on. They are the only performance product you can buy that actually has contact with the pavement. Cheap tires will just end up costing you more in the long run, especially if damage is done to your car... or even worse... you!

Ive wanted to put some nice wheels and tires on my car since I bought it. Ive just done the research and found that I need to be willing to spend between $2500-$3500 to get what I want out of a wheel/tire package... So Ive just had to convince myself to wait till I can afford it.

Just my .02

You really dont know what it will look like on your car, do you?

This pic is of IrishMax99's 18s with 205 rubber (or maybe it was 215...I forget). Either way it is some goofy looking **** regardless. You will be kicking yourself in the @ss for a long time if you buy them.

Sweet Moses! Those are 18s?! ...that wheel well looks gigantic if those are really 18's!! It looks like you could fit 24's under there.

I have a very difficult time believing that Max is actually sitting on its springs. There absolutely has to be a jack underneath it. Not even the stock springs ride THAT high. lol

But yes, you should get wider tires as the 18's are probably at least 8" wide. I think you would want a 235/40/18. Thats what I would go with anyways

i talked him down to $400 haha. he needs the money bad. i figure ill get some kumhos when these tires wear out. i cant pass up $100 a wheel for 18" with tires. could you? he has a galant and they dont look like that on his car. i measured his wheel well and his is actually bigger than mine so they should fill mine up. i dont know whats up with that red max in the pic. it looks like its on jack stands or something.

From $125/wheel, new.

eBay you can find even better deals on new wheels. Then you can buy the right tires the first time.

Nope not jacked up at all... IrishMax99 (and he is Irish) swore that it was not. It is stock 4th gen suspension height. They were 205s on 18s that he ordered out of one of those car magezine ads (The ones that offer you any rim with 205s on an economy budget). We all gave him a bunch of **** to say the least and he eventually got the appropriate 235/40 tires. The thread was started to show off his painted calipers, but it evolved into something else.

If you can get them for $400 than that doesn't sound like a bad deal. Maybe you should find out the exact tire size and post it on here. But if you are going to be okay with the tire size and you can get wheels and tires for less than you would pay for new wheels alone, i say go for it. Keep in mind that it's about $100/rim to repair curb rash so factor that in if you want clean rims.

You sure these wheels have the correct lug pattern for your car. What type of car are they comming off of?

Are you aware that according to that chart, not a single size has the appropriate 5 x 114.3mm bolt pattern that is NEEDED to fit on your car? According to the numbers, you wont even get these on and just because they came off another japanese vehicle does not mean that they will fit! You really made a bad decision here.

Yes, less side wall kinda mean less sidewall flex but that is not all that goes into it. Look at Autocross guys, how many use 18" rims?

That is what I was getting at. Don't know if that chart covers everything, but none of those lug patterns listed will work

they fit without a doubt. a galant has a 5x114.3 as well. they are a 5 lug universal pattern. a 5.100 or 5x114.3 pattern will accomodate the wheels i have. they are identical to the ones on that link.
