2000 Maxima Mirror on 2000 I30 ?????

Hey i was wondering if a maxima mirror will fit an I30? I bought my I30 used a while ago and it came with convex mirrors on the mirrors. I got the driver side off and got impatient with the passenger one and it broke. I want to replace the passenger side but dont see any on ebay nor e-parts store. (will try junkyards but prefer a new one). I did find this on paradox systems
http://www.paradox-systems.com/produ...roducts_id=106

I want to get a new mirror assembly and found a 2000 series maxima mirror for 50-60 bux
http://search.ebay.com/search/search...ror&category0=
If it fits then ill get that and carbon covers so i dont have to paint it. What do yall think or suggest?
I have found mirror glass only but dont want to go through all that hassle...

Im pretty sure they are the same, but the colors will be different. You seem to have that covered though.

What exactly did you break? The actual glass mirror?

If you didn't want to replace the whole mirror assembly it would be pretty easy to put your own backing on it.

wait for a cold morning(make sure ur mirrors are fogged up) and turn on ur defoggers.there should be a square where the fog slowly dissappears.if this doesnt happen then u dont have one. good luck finding an i30 w/0 it though.

in houston we never really get that kind of weather...but if you don have a heated mirror on a heated system can this effect the system? From the FSM it says they are the same connector just missing 2 wires (for the heated system). So if its not connected will all other defroster devices(driver sided heated mirror and rear window) still work? I got the mirror from carparts.com but on ebay from them and its non-heated. They did say i can do an exchange but i dont feel like going through the hassle but i will if it will hinder my system. BTW, my mirror is broke because it had a convex mirror on it and i removed the driver side ok but the pass side i got greedy and it broke.
