Nice job. I really like that color of blue. I especially like the I35 rims over the I30. I think some clear side-markers would look pimp on there.

I like it a lot

So you actually had to replace the trunk lid in order to install the I35 Tails and center piece? I've wondered for a while exactly what needed to be replaced.

So what's the next step? I think it would look great if you cleared the headlamps and blacked those out... But then you have to black out the fogs and get the clear sidemarkers too.

Are you tempted with the cheap mods???

You dont have to replace the trunk lid since its the exact lid. I was getting a better price for the complete setup so I went ahead and did that. All you need is four tails and a center tag piece

There is no next step. This is my daily driver and I dont plan to mod it. This was just for looks and kicks. Maxima will remain the modding hobby and may be the R1

I like the conversion. If you aren't changing the wheels I think you should have kept the front grill chrome. Now if you were to throw some black wheels with a polished lip I think that'd be a nice complement to the grill. My point is the grill is too subdued because it blends in with the car. Still a very excellent job and I'm sure others appreciate the black grill more. Do you work on your cars yourself?

Thanks for some honest opinion there. I kinda wanted a different look so went ahead and painted the grill. I am not sure if I should put the chrome stripes on the front and rear bumpers back or not.

I did paint the door handles black to change the look. This is daily driver so no mods. I did install a 6cd bose indash from a 04 I35 too along with heated front and rear seats :-D

Wow heated front and rear. That's pretty sweet. It'd be even better if gets cold this year, lol. Did you get good deals on parts? scour junkyards? or just pay straight dealer pricing? The two things I want from the I35 are the steering wheel and the grill, but I want good deals on them, lol.

I part out cars every now and then so never paid dealer prices. I will keep an eye at my yards for your parts. Email me @ max4speed@gmail.com with what you are looking for.

THanks!

What all did you have to do to install the haeted seats? I've removed the seats before and it looks like the wiring is there, so do you just need the heating elements, relay, and dash switch?

Did you just straight swap the seats or did you remove the seat covers to install the heaters? Just would like to know how hard that is, as winter is coming.

BTW, is that an 02' R1? I love the tail on those bikes. Im trying to figure out how I can swing an 02' GSX-R 750

I swapped out complete seats. Didnt wanna deal with the hassle of covers.

Yes thats 02 R1. I have a 2001 GSX-R600 on ebay right now. Its polished with yoshi pipe cf accessories etc.

great lookin bike man... You have a page with your YZF?

How much did the seats run you at the yard? I'd probably want to wait till I go back to Cali to look for anything cuz A33's are very rare here in Colorado. I almost never see them (makes me feel kinda special

Hey man your car looks real clean. But, personally I would of saved my money
and used it toward something else on the car. Don't get me wrong though, either way the car is dope. I personally like the 00-01 spoked grill makes the car look real classy. I definately think some 2005-06 M45 19 in. gunmetal sport package wheels would look sick on your car.

Thanks for your comments bro. I did that caz I had to.. picked up the car with damages so since i had to replace the tails etc, I thought why not go for the I35 look. I would NEVER have spent this much if the I30 was perfect to start with

imho, it needs to have the spoiler also......

You should take a pic just like the last one but a little more towards the back, I wet my pants everytime I walk back to the 3.5 in a parking lot when I'm coming up on it from the back and the rims are cut towards the side I'm walking up on. You guys might think I'm a loser for this one...... but sometimes when I get out of it I cut the wheels to the left and walk all the way around the car just so I can see it from the back/driverside at a 45* angle with the rims poking out of the wheel wells, it looks soooo sporty from that veiw.

I'd say halfway between the angle of your last pic and this one, for some reason it looks like a friggin' racecar ready to anhialate anything that steps.

You're paint looks very very very nice for black, good job keeping it 'bling bling' What do you use for wax?

How much and how difficult was it to retrofit heated seats?

He just got the seats form another car so they should just plug right in.

If you just get the heating elements you have to undo to hog rings that hold the leather on the seats and put the elements under there.
