BS or no?

Well, I've got a friend with a 98 I30, and I know for a fact that these dont work for 4th gen Maximas, but I was wondering if there was something different in I30's that made this a valid mod. He claims it raised his rev limiter to 7500 and he "swears" he feels better acceleration. Just wondering, thanks in advance for responses!

Haha, I plan on doing that sometime soon, He has 18's, an Injen, a generic catback, and subs. Ive got a Y-Pipe, and a Hacked airbox. he thinks he will win in a race. I'm waiting for a test n tune at byron dragway, then ill show him who's boss!

If you're both auto you may have a better chance at winning after you factor in the weight and diminished acceleration from his sub setup and 18s.

And personally, I think that module is useless.
