What is that line?? Is is it actual damage on the plastic or is it some sort of crap adhered to it.

the line is in the part of the plastic where it curves its just been enhanced by the haze there

when you wash your car, the detergent you use sort of fuses to the plastic, mixed with the heat of the bulb, it just bakes on there. my dad owns a couple of carwashes, and i worked there for about five years. my maxima that i used to have had it really bad on the lights, what i did was got a high speed buffer with a soft buffing pad and some plastic window polish(jeep windows, convertable tops ect..) and just buffed it out, you may also be able to use a clay detailing bar. just my two cents
