Well, let's see.

Handling:
Front strut tower bar, cheap, look for same year Maxima one on eBay.
Rear sway bar.
New springs (slight lowering) with Tokiko Illuminas.
Wheels, up to you.

Performance:
Intake. I prefer warm air to cold air, but search on this. Any one designed for same year Maxima will fit.
Exhaust, do a search.
ECU, another search. 4th gen forums will be of much help here.

Body:
Nissan Cefiro one piece headlights. Bar-none my favorite exterior upgrade for the A32 I30. Member Sycefiro should be of service here.
If you have a 96-97, then the 98-99 tail lights are a big improvment in my opinion.

Just search in the 4th gen Maxima forums, besides exterior/body items, anything else will likely work for you.

Wow... A very pretty car for just being stock. IMO, lowering a car and new rims will make it look different right away. More euro and smooth. Other great cosmetic mods are the cefiro headlights and grille. Easy and good performance mods are intake and y-pipe to be followed by exhaust. I installed a grounding kit and was very impressed by the results for one other mod. The opportunities are endless. Have fun and enjoy. Also, if you are unaware you ca is basically a 4th gen maxima. You can go through their classifieds for some parts. Good luck!

DUDE! Best budget mod imho, buy the cheapest cross-drilled and slotted brembo front rotors on E-bay, I think the seller is called brakewarehouse or something, there a huge mail-order brake company and they do a decent job at drilling and slotting the brembo cores, I prefer factory nissan pads unless you are going to get some really nice pads that will have some drawbacks (stop killer but only when hot).

I just picked up the same car and heres my next to do's for it(After the clutch and Dif bearings, and new $yncro$ while I'm at it!!) It might give you some ideas.
intake (Done! It's ill know!), frt. rotors, all 4 stainless brake lines, short throw shifter, then a y-pipe, next would be a rear-sway bar and rear strut tower brace (and possibly a front to), then comes the 5 gen intake and sub frame connectors. The sub frame connectors and y-pipe might come first though ,since after the clutch and tranny is taking care of I have a wet kit with lots of goodies ready to go. For me, I consider the rotors, y-pipe, and rear sway bar important because they all make a HUGE difference on our cars compared to how much they cost. (asides from the nos)

Since many here have recommended upgrading your suspension, I happen to have for sale, a brand-new, never opened box of H-Tech Luxury springs guaranteed to fit your car.

I'm asking $135 (plus $35 shipping) for them. If you're interested, PM me.
