Trying to get factory cd changer to work with Eclipse head unit
I have a '01 I30. I bought my Eclipse AVN2454 about a year ago and I was told that I can't connect any cd changer to it unless the brand of it is Eclipse as well. Thats retarded, I figured after years they would come up with some trick or adapter or something. If anyone knows how I can get my factory 6 cd changer to work again please let me know. Thanks

I have no idea.... But you should try to sell that 6 CD changer online or to Maxima/I30/I35 owners and purchase a compatible one (Eclipse)...

I was thinking of doing that but the only thing is that cd changers are pretty pricey. And not only would I have to spend extra money to have to buy one from the brand Eclipse, but I'd also have to pay money to install it, so I'd end up losing money. I'm gonna try to find something and if not, I'll just have to do that. If you find anything or read about anythign to do in my situation can you PM me pleas.e Thanks
