Help Needed Badly!!!

Well I got my car back from the bodyshop after wrecking it, and I must say it looks really good. However, I have a problem with my foglight....

I need the connector at the end of the wiring harness for the driver's side fog lamp. Not the entire harness, just the connector so I can splice it back onto my existing connector....

Anyone have any idea where I can get this connector? Will one from a Maxima work, this is for the FOG lights....

it's a grey cover that caps onto the back off the lamp and the factory harness plugs into it.

Ok I called the dealer, and I was mistaken about the part I need.....

I need the connector from the end of the HARNESS. The new harness assembly is like $1200-and all I need is the end of the harness connector. I have the foglight assembly...

NISSAN really knows how to yank your *****! LOL. $1200 is crazy for a little connector! My suggestion is to go to the junk yard and find the part that you need.

I would think the same thing, except I'm all out of import yards in my area. Nothing in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, or Austin as of yet.

Know a good junker with an i30/35 on the lot? I'm pretty much screwed at this point.....

I called all the people who had I35's, and no one has this connector. Does anyone have an idea of maybe a workaround in lieu of obtaining this connector? I'm running out of patience, and places to look =(

If I do the HID Foglight conversion will I need the connector at the end of the harness-or do I re-wire the fogs anyway when going HID? I need some guidence here cause my car is almost back into perfect shape minus the fogs!!!

I'm not exactly sure what it is you're missing. Maybe you could take a pic?

Alternatively, I don't see why this is a huge problem (unless I'm misunderstanding what's missing - correct me if I am).

The housing accepts a H3 bulb, right? Wouldn't a standard H3 socket (available at auto parts stores) plug into the back of the bulb? From there couldn't you simply splice that into the factory wiring harness? All you need is power and ground.

I'll admit, I've never changed the foglight bulbs and the last time I was under there and saw the back of the housing I didn't give it much attention, as installing the skirts were foremost on my mind. So most of what I suggested is based on speculation. But if what I said is indeed the case, then I don't see why you couldn't workaround it.

I'm missing the connector at the end of the harness that plugs into the foglight. I have the harness, and the foglight assembly/housing but missing the connector at the end of the harness.......

Right, but what I'm saying is - if it's the connector that plugs into the base of the H3 bulb, then you should be able to buy that at any auto parts store. Is that the connector that you speak of?

Hmm...perhaps there is no base:

Eh, I was thinking it was like a 9005/9006 bulb and you could just buy the socket and splice it in.

Well finding this connector is crazy. Junkyard wanted $600 for the harness. A few places have had other Infinitis and I'm stuck to an 02-04 i35 or 00-01 i30. If someone cuts the connector for me they've lost the whole harness I guess.

Anyone have any idea how I could wire the fogs into the foglight assembly without a harness? Anyone have a wiring diagram or helms manual or something to give me an idea of doing this right?
