does anyone know where i can get the under chassis engine cover for a 2001 infiniti I30. I've tried looking everywhere and it seems that no one has it. I did buy the fender splash guards both left and right fenders.. mine were missing when i had purchased the car used and without them; it really makes the front bumper on the sides extremely flexible and loose --> a bad thing when driving in the snow ( last thing i need is a cracked front bumper from snow and ice).


that under chassis engine cover is that large piece of black plastic just before the end of the front bumper....mine is commin off and torn up from the last owner of the car. I would like to replace it cuz it may solve my rattling problems during acceleration

any help is appreciated..

I know the part you are talking about. I actually need to get one for my Z32. The engine splash shield should be available form any dealer. Also, check out the site sponsors. Otherwise, search junkyards locally and online.

You mean the one that covers the oil filter and belt? I lost mine, a few weeks later my Ac compressor bearing went. damn moisture

 

so i went to the dealership to find out what the hell them parts are for the under engine cover.. apparently the rep says that they always come off I30/35 all the time and that its a common issue. I went ahead and order the parts...it turns out that there are 2 pieces to the under carrage engine cover..both left and right hand sides...mind you that this is separate from the left and right wheel wells. The wheel wells is the cover thats just above the front tires. quoted price for each side is roughly 60.00 ...parts together with bolts from the dealership was around 125 or so..


I'll post the part #'s for all the wheel wells and both left and right under carrage splash shields
