What size rims???

What size rims would you guys recommend and what offset? I am planning to lower the car about 1" or 1 1/2". I am looking at 19x8, 19x8.5, or 20x9.

I'd stick with 19's, but keep in my mind tire prices aren't cheap at that size. Oh and the wider the better IMO.

What offset would you recommend for 19" rims?

na i doubt you can a 20x9 to tuck under the fenders on the 98... you would be better off running a 20x8.5 or even 20x7.5 with a 225-35-20

you need a 38 offset btw... i owned a 97 maxima and 19's at the time were it. The 225/35/20 tire should allow you to get a 20 on there, but with an 8.5 width you are stretching that tire. You would really be better off with a 19x8 38 offset and a 1.5" drop...imo

U think the Tein S-Tech springs would be too much of a drop for the car with 19s?

It will look bad azz, but the ride might be rough.

Haven't decided yet, I just ordered some 19 x 9.5 with 38 offset today. Gonna check the gap when I get the tires. I don't want them to rub when turning.

in short he means you prolly shouldn't get s-techs. personally i wouldn't get them. anytime you drop a car that much w/o a coilover set up you're asking for trouble.

I want to get 18x7.5, my k sports are rough enough, i want to get some kind of gun metal dished rim of some sort. What offset should i get? Im thinkin 30-35. Im not getting a cheapy rim but i was considering 5 zigen rx6 at 43mm. i was also considering the hyper 5zr no rivets but its a 19. Love Volks GT-C in black and polished. What do yall think will make my car look real clean and nice???? Im not limited to rims i listed...but would like nice input with links!

I am also thinking about 18's, maybe even 19's. Did those of you who got these notice any difference in ride quality and handling?
