Custom leather for I30??? who has it...

Do they sell kits for the I30 or just the maxima? Every site I have looked at has only maxima listed for 95-99. I know the back seat tops are totally different. Does anyone have custom leather in a 96-99 I30?? Is it custom or a mail order kit? Thanks

Katzkin doesn't have anything aside from the G20 listed on their site but it did say this:

* If you don't see the pattern that you are looking for, please contact us at 1-800-842-0590. Many more patterns are available.

That is for other materials, they can get custom colors and materials on special order. Nobody has custom leather in their 96-99 I30??? Think I can get it done somewhere local just wanted to compare prices. Thanks D-bo

I just picked up an 96 I30 with cloth, guaran-dam-tee that car is getting a custom interior.

If there really isnt any aftermarket support, would it not be a reasonable solution to swap to some maxima seats? Isn't the only difference the rear headrests, if applicable?

I have it in mine. Installed it myself. You have to use a maxima kit and convert to the upper portion of the rear bench... unless you can find a local shop to custom make leather for the upper portion of the rear bench which could get real pricy real quick.

I30ds that was what I was thinking sell my backrest or trade then buy a maxima kit from somewhere or get it made local. Do the maxima kits come with pockets on both front seats? I think they do, but I am not sure....

Why did you reuse the stock ones?...did you recover them in matching material? I guess that is an old pic with the stock rear seat still in. Do you have any of the rear seat done? I like the brown color in the middle so it matches the dash. Thats what I was thinking of doing, two tone tan and brown with preforation for the crappy factory heaters. Also what colors did you get, that tan looks really light if it even is tan, looks light tan with brown. What colors do they call them?

I reused the stock ones because they look better and getting the new ones to adhere to the panel would have been a huge pain in the @ss. My old ones were mint and the color matches anyway so it definately was the better choice to reuse them. The kit comes with new headrest leather, but those are the old head rest leather in the pics. So you can see the color is a match. I don't have any pics of the rear leather because I have not gotten around to getting the upper portion of the rear bench from a Maxima. The rear section of the leather kit has been sitting in my closet since summer of 2004.

That is a shame, you know lots of maxima owners will buy the backrest and give you their old one to cover. I wouldn't be able to leave it 50% done it would drive me nuts. That tan looks alot lighter I am surprised it matched the oem tan.

If there are enough interest on I30 (A32 leather kits)

If there are enough interest on I30 (A32 leather kits), most likely with out the side airbag (meaning 96-97). I can find out how much it would cost for Cefiro A32 aftermarket leather kits.

Please email me with subject A32 Cefiro Leather Kits if you are interested. And I could find out what color and combination is available.

Thanks
