Time to find a new car...
Well it's time to find a new car... I'm not getting rid of my I30t, it's my baby, and it's been there for me whenever I needed her, so I'll keep it around for when I need big and smooth. However, I've been aching for a faster smaller car, preferably still with 4 doors. I've been looking at used, and so far two cars have caught my eye... a 2002-2004 audi S4, or a 2001+ Mercedes C32 AMG (what i really, really want). What are your guys' opinions on them? I really like the mercedes because it looks nice, is 4 doors, and has power out the wazooo. I've driven the entire infiniti line and nothing has impressed me like the MB has. It'll be my 'fun' driver from now on so I can resign the 'responsible' duties to my i30t which has served me so well.
Thanks!
Thanks!
This has nothing to do with the Maxima/I30.
But I'd suggest the S4. I had a 2004 A4 1.8t Q that was a great car that had a great deal of pimp factor to it.
Going from AWD to FWD was such a disappointment. You'll feel the difference.

I know how you feel, I can't wait for the weekends to roll around. My Z32 is just amazing, but not for the commute, where the I serves me well.
I dunno, the wrx's power seems anemic compared to a C32 or S4.... And it doesn't look nearly as good.
And I know it doesn't have anything to do with maxima/i30... but I do own one, and the parents have an i35... Asking an opinion has long been acceptable on this forum.

Infiniti G35x 4 doors all wheel drive.....very nice car, I am getting one next year, or a 2005 maxima. Drive them all and compare to your driving style and comfort level. Hope you stay infiniti or atleast nissan.... I am not a big fan of audi or benz maintence prices.

Also, wouldn't get an A/S4 with more than 60,000 miles. That's when they start having the expensive repairs. Otherwise, great cars.
Maxima = the ugly. G35x interior is the suck... compared to our I30/35s, the G35 cant even hold a candle to our interiors. I HATE that they use even MORE plastic in the G35 than the I series. Also, I had the g35x in my hands for a weekend... It was OK, but not great. I don't really see anything in the nissan line that is as luxury AND powerful as the C32... which I think I'm leaning more towards. If I wanted just a nice car... then an M35x or M45 would do, however the price on those go way higher than a used C32.
