How to take out window switch panels?

Does anyone know how to take out panels with window switches? I tried to do it with a flathead, with no result.

No idea, but I'd say take off the door panel and look at it from the backside. Probably be easier to figure it out from there.

Well, taking off the door panel is what i'm trying to do. I unscrewed the 2 screws and took off the plastic from around the door handle (that opens the door). I tried to take off the panel by pushing it whichever way with no result, so i thought i had to take off the window controlls. Anyway, i guess i can take off the door panel without taking off the controls, wouyld you care to guide me how to take the door panel off?

The window switches do not need to be removed. You unplug them from the rear.

Did you remove the screw from the inside door pull? There is a little cap covering it... I think

Thanks a mil! Just for info, my window glass is moving from side to side a bit when going up, so I'm trying to get inside the door to see what's up, and maybe tighten some screws...

Correct me if I am wrong, but there is a screw in the door pull in ALL of the doors. I actually just took off all of my door panels this past weekend in order to replace all of the inside door handles with new chrome ones. If you need more detail on how to remove the door panels, let me know and I can put together a "how to" and email it to you, but I believe you need to do the following:

remove the two screws from the bottom of the door panel
remove the little plastic cover inside your door pull
remove that screw
now run your fingers along the edges of the door panle to pop the panle off the door frame
Carefully pull up and toward yourself, but do not jerk the panle off because there are wires attached to the door frame and the door panle that you need to unplug BEFORE you can pull the whole panle away from the door frame.

That should be all you need to do.

If you need pictures and a "how to" let me know.

Good luck
