True, if it's the one I'm thinking of, the triple-bar Cattman FSTB looks great.

I have a cattman 2-bar titanium FSTB. I love it. Looks very subtle and original. Only problem is that it costs a lot.

not sure, I haven't talked to brian in a very long time. I am running most of his products though (fstb, rsb, coilover system, headers, y-pipe), pretty high quality everything.

Is there a new FSTB coming out? I haven't seen it, but since mine isn't broken, I have no need to replace mine. I have had mine for about 3 years.

After reading what happened to steven88 in the 5th gen section with his EGay FSTB I wouldn't even think about going with a cheap one.

Do yo think its pretty good quality, compared to the more expensive Stillen or Cattman?

I think the courtesy fstb is ok. Maybe a cut above the ebay one.. good bang for the buck, and it does the job. I mean, I have seen a few strut bars crack and dent before, but for the most part, they do the job. Unless you're really tracking your car, i wouldn't go spend money on an expensive strut bar. Stillen's one is pretty, but you're paying for the name as well. Most ppl buy their strut bars based on looks. Buy one that looks good to you.

Bad news, guys...Alutec doesn't make the FSTB for I30/I35's anymore. Apparently they weren't selling enough. Jeremy from Motorexonline says they'll make some for us if we can get a group buy of 20-30 people. I'm guessing thats not gonna happen though.

Well, now that you mention it, Paradox does have the A33/Maxima Alutec listed on their site. I don't know if there in stock or not though.

i have that strut bar from paradox-systems and to tell you the truth its the same with any other strut bar whether its a stillen one for like a billion dollars or a cheapo one off of ebay. ultimately what you paying for is design.

doesnt handle any better than a cheap one and it may seem like its a huge piece of metal but really its a hollow tube. I had the assumption that it was a heavy strut bar but that wasnt the case. if you gonna pay that much on a FTSB then i would suggest forkin out a few more bones to get the cattman Ti bar that they sell...perhaps that might make a noticable difference in handling.

Ive got the OTTO FSTB and have been more than happy with it for the past two or three years. It's a nice, quality piece, fitment is great, and the price cant be beat.

I was looking at Cattman's titanium bar before I bought this, but decided $200 was a bit steep when I can get something that will perform the same for $50. I took the remainder and bought some H&R wheel spacers.
