I've been in discussions with a seller for the projector headlights.

From what I've gathered, it uses H7 bulbs for low beams and H1 bulbs for high beams.

I also got a pic of the back of the headlight (seriously contemplating swapping the projector out for some TSX or s2000 projectors).

I asked for pics of the beam pattern but was told they don't have any. I'm also curious to see what the high beam looks like (I'm a lighting dork, I care about these things) as I use my current high beams a LOT, and I know what it's like to drive cars in my area with mediocre high beams (not fun).

The LED tails look incredible! I've been waiting for something like that for a while. Unfortunately for me, it looks like they're I30 style only, so I'd have to switch over to the I30 center section if I wanted to run them.

keep us posted on them lights! Those are some mean looking lights especially those LED tail lights KI30t. They would probably sell a whole lot better then the last set that had like 5 little lights in a projectors slot....I dont remember what they were called but it was a few months ago that someone had posted up here...i was told that the beam pattern on those sucked

I sure will. I'm thinking about getting the LED tails after I do a full interior speaker swap. I'm so happy, I finally got rid of the BOSE crap in my car.

There's no City Lights with Angel Eye Headlights. The Angel Eye rings themsevles are lit by LED's, therefore giving you an alternate light other than just headlights. So basically, those are your city lights.

^ ewww. That's gay. Those cheapo LED angel eyes are not a suitable replacement for the city lights. (Sorry but I've get Umnitza Predator DDEs in my Altima so I'm used to those and anything less is just not acceptable)

LMAO...no Angel Eyes project light so how are these cheap? The only thing that is possibly cheaper is the projector isn't as good as BMW's, Acura's, Audi, etc.

Actually the better ones do project some light. I was using LED angel eyes. Looks fine at night, but not daytime visible. I'll be using CCFL angel eyes. About 6-8 times brighter and perfectly white. They do project light. They are bright enough, you could mount a set under your hood and work on your engine at night.

Anyone ever checked the taiwan yahoo auctions? Search for A33 CCFL. They have CCFL angel eyes and projectors for our cars (not the 5 beam projectors). Can't tell you about the beam pattern on them though.

I like those tails!!

on those LED tails. I've been wanting to tear apart my tails and do a LED setup, but was to scared to destroy my talis. These Tails look great, exactly what I would like to do (except maybe the LED pattern).

Definitely keep us posted.

Would aftermarket projector headlights that are installed on the 00+ I30 require xenon light upgrade/modification ? or is it an easy bolt-in ?
Aslo, would a projector headlights improve the xenon output or will it worsen it ?

Aftermarket projectors would increase output. If you have an I30T you need projectors and D2S bulbs. If you have a regular I30 you'll additionally need ballasts and ignitors.

Is it an easy bolt on....................... IMO No. I'd get another set of stock headlights if you plan to do this. An easier though more expesive route would be to like Meta mentions above, buy the headlights at the top or the 5 beam projector and than retro better projectors into those.

I wish I could buy the shrouds from those headlights above. That's where I'm stuck.

I think one of the I30 peeps should buy a set and take pics of the beam pattern.

EDIT: Hmmm, it's actually not as bad as the 5-beam one....

Yeah like STL I30 said, the DDEs on my Altima are VERY bright. They are easily visible in midday sunlight on a bright sunny day. And night time visibility? They're more sick than old ladies in flu season. Plus they are razor thin, not big chunky like those LED halos.

Personally I don't think these headlights are anywhere near as bada$$ as those 5-beam projectors. These headlights look almost exactly like stock, except with projectors and cleared turn signals (and the aforementioned el cheapo halos). At least the 5-beam projectors provide a totally different look AND actually seperate the city light into its own tiny reflector making it more stylishly current and actually usable.

I think that is the appeal to these headlights. They are a subtle change for the better (although I dont like the angeleyes). The stock headlights are not bad at all, just need clearing, painting, and projectors IMO. These achieve that without too crazy a price.

I would only buy these because they would probably be easier to install nice projectors into.

You only need a new pair of H7 HID bulbs to fit in those projectors.

So what exactly is this project you're working on? Are you using your new housings to retrofit a projector assembly? Mad props if you are.

And on a completely different topic: Is this a new smiley???

I've never seen it before, but I just spent the last like 2 mins LMAO.

Wow, the output is pretty good! But it sucks for us I35 guys, because our ballasta are mounted underneath the headlight, which I doubt those aftermakret ones have the screws for. Then we have to use a D2S/R to AMP connector harness to use a 9006 or H7 bulb.

Can anyone read that Yahoo Taiwan auction? I don't know that the headlight is the exact same as the one on eBay here.

Reason being: it seems as though the one with the beam pattern pictures on the Yahoo Taiwan auction uses 9006 bulbs, whereas a seller on eBay that has the headlight told me they used H7 bulbs. Additionally, the Taiwan auction model only appears to have the angel eye ring around the projector and NOT in the high beam reflector like the eBay models.

Ya I can translate:

Cefiro A33 brand new aftermakret 9006 projector assembly

benefits of projector:

9006 big projector, can use original OEM HID
projector beam pattern is wider and more balanced
projector's unique circular shape makes the beam more focused
no glare, safe for traffic use

nowadays projectors are a must, and no longer reserved for high end lucury cars. projectors are now one of the most popular modifications with great results.

Just a quick observation...

These headlamps (all pictured on this page) seem to only have ONE projector. The highbeam reflector is round, but definitely not a projector.

Anyone else notice this?

I rather like the one (single projector) you cited on Yahoo Taiwan. Seems to be the OEM headlight with a [seemingly] decent projector and shroud in it. And since the high beam reflector looks to be the same I know I'd be happy there.

The ones on eBay here have that small round high beam reflector which makes me worry about its output. I don't have any real evidence to back this up, but I do know the little round reflector used for high beams in my fiance's Mazda3 seems woefully inadequate. Her HID projectors, and level adjustment, on the other hand, are awesome.

Do you, perchance, have any pics of how you mounted the projector (low beam) to the reflector/housing?

No, that is the single one on eBay right now. The 5 beam's pattern is not worth posting again, it is horrid.
