Replacing all exterior stock bulbs

I'm currently using silverstar low beams, Cyber white Hi-s, stock H3's, PIAA Turning lamps....(4 completely different colors ) but I'd really like to find a matching set of 9005, 9006, and H3 bulbs with a nice blue coating on it to give it the HID look. (I know, "why dont I just convert?") Cus I'm lazy. that's why. j/k

Anywho, 2 questions:
Can running an 80 watt bulb compared to a stock 55 watt bulb damage your wiring harness and/or relays?? (80watt lows and I think 100watt HIs (I had a pair on my old diamante and I burned out my relay after 7-8 months, but I didnt know if it was just cus the car was old.)
If so, where can I find a nice set that has the standard wattage? and if I cant find standard wattage, what parts can I buy to make my harness/relay withstand the power?

Thanks all

I am against blue coated bulbs, but if you must, get MTEC on eBay. Its color matches that of Piaa bulbs, very affordable and last time I checked, a lifetime warranty. Also, stay with standard 55W, since technically overloading the eletrical system obviously has the potential for damage.

Thanks

But since you said you were against the blue bulbs, what option do you reccomend as far as converting?

If I were you, I would buy a set of the eBay projectors, and add a H7 HID kit. It'll drastically improve your light output and front end look of the car, not to mention one of the first with the projectors. And in the future, you always have the option to swap in better projectors.

hmph. I just sold an extra set of headlamps I had layin around to STL I30 and I think he/she is doing the same w/ the projectors.

Looks like on Ebay, I can get all 3 (9005, 9006, H3) for 156 Shipped.

And like you said, lifetime warranty. Cant beat that.
The original set I had in my old diamante were lifetime warranty(which was great cus they burned out every 6-8 months, but then a new model came out to replace the ones I had. A "street legal model" and the warranty became void.

These are like a dollar cheaper(shipping) and are sold by a competing seller that has 1% better rating

Umm, there was a problem with FAKE MTECs, so I've only bought from the true distributor which is mtecpower on eBay.

Thanks for the warning. definitely considering that. I'm contacting them (mtecpower) now to see how I can ship all 3 pairs together and get a discount on shipping.
