hey...I looked back in the list of treads and couldn't find answer to this question: I have a 2001 I30t with the xenon headlight package. I want to buy the e-bay projector headlights and don't want to loose my HID feature. I understand that there are different bulbs used for those headlights and I need to know how I can convert those e-bay headlights to HID ready.

 

Last time I checked, after market A33 projectors have poor light outputs. I would like to know if any supplier have improved since then.

 

Whatever HID bulb the headlight takes and D2S/R to AMP harness.

 

What do you mean the have poor light outputs? isn't aftermarket suposed to be generally better?

 

No, OEM quality always > aftermarket. The output pics of those headlights have ben posted, while the cutoff is not bad, the light output pattern sucks as expected.

how about the halogens with the angel eyes? are they any good?

 

one more question! what type of lamps (H1, H7,...) are used in the stock headlights and what type is used in the halogen w/ angel eye.
