Almost wrecked my car then.... CRASH

I was driving right after I got off work yesterday when some little cavalier pulls next to me. We kinda look at each other and start to go but then a dump truck pulls RIGHT out in front of me! I slam on the brakes (thank god for ABS) and I got slowed down in time. As soon as I go to get around him a little white car pulls out in front of him...... you can read the rest here.

hell yea I tried. but there was nothing I could do. She was dead on impact. In a situation like that i can't move her at all because of neck and back injury possibilities. Felt for a pulse and tried talking to her (telling her to stay with me and so on) but I knew she had already passed.

Very Sad....that must have been difficult.

Glad you're ok though! Did the lady's Hyundai get t-boned by the dump truck? Was she the only one at fault?

Glad ur okay dude. Ur a good man trying to do all you can to help her out. My aunt witnessed a death like that too except a truck ran a red light and a car smashed into it, sending it spinning in the air and smashing into the ground. It must be difficult for you because my aunt never drove the same again.

Her car got hit and she was at fault. She had the stop sign and just pulled right out.

Well to be honest I live on a bad road and have seen things like this many times before. It's just kinda hard to see it happen to an old lady like this. The only other accidents that made me loose sleep at night was when a family got rear ended by a 18 wheeler and all 6 of them were killed (including the 5 month old baby). Then I also saw 4 girls I know from high school get hit by a drunk driver and all 4 of them were killed. I have seen a lot of **** for only being 20. I really hope nobody here ever has to see the things I have seen.

I would feel worse for the family and high school girls than an old lady. They have so much life ahead of them. Since no one can escape death, the only thing we can wish for is a trouble free life that ends without much suffering. That is about as good a death as you can have.
