I have a problem with my 1996 I30. When the car is cold and I go to start the car up, the car has a rough idle. Idling very low and sometimes even dying. When it dies, I hold my foot on the gas and hold the rpms at like 1000 to 1500 rpms for about 1 min. After this the car no longer dies but idles rough and low. After the car gets to about normal operating temp. The car runs fine, good idle,and never dies.

What can the prob be to make it run rough on cold start?

The car has about 93k miles on the clock.

Is the IACV properly adjusted? Sounds like a fuel issue. Check the fuel pressure prior to (key at the 'ON' possition) and right after start up.
