wheel replacement - technical question

So...if I want to put these wheels from the M35/45 Sport on my A32, what problems will I face?

To be more specific, my tires are 215/60R15 while M Sport tires are 245/40R19. These will most likely be too tall for my stock setup, so will I rub? How will I fix my speedo to read the correct speed? I also heard somewhere that it will throw my timing off?

Reason I'm asking, I randomly see this I30t around my town with these wheels on it, and I never really get a chance to ask her how she got it to work. (I'm guessing she paid some shop thousands to do it for her)

Simple solution: buy new tires.

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Match the overall diameter of your current setup with the new wheels and tires.

The potential to rub with 245/40/19 is great. I know some A33s can get away with it, but I think A32s have less room in the wheel wells.

I doubt it, she probably just got them mounted and drove off. I checked on 1010.com and yes they are taller than stock.......

Stock Tire - 215/60R15 VS: 245/40R19

Overall Diameter: 25.15 in 638.81 mm
Overall Diameter: 26.71 in 678.43 mm

Revs per Mile: 827.0
Revs per Mile: 778.7

Actual Speed: 60 mph 100 km/h
Speedometer1: 56.4 mph 94.1 km/h

Speedometer Difference: - Speedometer Difference: 6.202% too slow
Diameter Difference: - Diameter Difference: 5.85%

The calculator on 1010tires.com comes up with a warning and recommends not going over 3% diameter difference because of possible brake failure.

The more important issue you will face is the offset difference of these rims compared to the OEM rims. I believe that the m45 rims (50 mm?? )offset is much greater then stock, therefore the wheels will look tucked into the fenders. might have to get some spacers. there was a member a few months back that picked up the same set of wheels, might want to check with them, here is the post http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=469611

Again, your success all dependent on tire size and offset.
