I vote for the C5
Man, you want to put 20" on your car? I don't think that's a good idea since i was running with 255/35/19 and the ride was too harsh/stiff for me...

Not to mention the ghetto-ness! 20's are over doing it I think, especially when chromed, but if you are going for the bling bling look, then go for it.

I have 20 inch rims on my i30, i had 17inch rims on my vw golf and more meat on the tires and the ride on the golf was about 5times worse than my i30.
why are 20inch rims ghetto?

the c5s look like truck wheels. I find neither appealing, but if you have to get one, get the c1s.

well, theres a dude here with 20's on his I35 and looks pretty clean, on the other hand there a guy with a 01 I30 with 18's chrome and his looks stupid. besides the oem rims, 19" or 20" is what i prefer. it only looks ghetto if the wheels are horribly ugly or they don't match the car, and thats for any size.

if putting 20's on a luxury car is ghetto, then what do you call retards who race them? running 14.5 15 second quarter miles like thats fast? just a question.

I don't think either wheel looks good. I personally thing stock wheels are more attractive, and will give you a better ride. I'd stick with 18's at the max, but 20 is so overdoing it.

And racing cars isn't ghetto, it's childish, but also a rush!!! I don't do it, but I'd rather see people racing to see who's ***** are bigger, then putting $1600 rims proving whose wallet's bigger.

of course stock wheels will ride better, no ****. And i'm not calling racing ghetto, i race myself, i'm knocking people who race cars that aren't meant to be raced. and if that needs to be defined then i feel sorry for you. i've seen 18's on a 01+ I30 and did not like how they looked. i've seen 20's on max's & I30/35's, they appeal to me more. okay. a simple I don't like them would of did fine. i guess i'll look like a "ghetto person" then.

not sure, the wheels I really want are zenetti stella's, but the shop don't have them in my bolt pattern, so I was just thinking about these as a 2nd option, i'm leaning towards the c1's though.

I would go with the C5 in 17" 7,5J or 18" 7,5J, because would look "bigger" and not as "empty" as the C1 in these sizes....

Unless ... They don't agree with what you like!!! If you wanted us to agree with you, just say so. Don't leave us the option to disagree, then get defensive when we do!!!!

And ghetto, was probably the wrong word ... It's an I30, and class mixed with luxury is cool. But trying to turn it into some show car with 20" rims, where you can barely turn your wheel, is so much!! It's like trying to kill an ant with a sledgehammer. To each it's own. Good luck

I would just go with the M45 19's, i think they look better than both, although similar to the C1's

I'm sure those cars look great ... They aren't "luxury" cars!!!! And the wheels, I'm sure, fit!!

What purpose do 20" rims serve!!! They don't improve the comfort of the ride ...
It's all for show, nothing more. I'm not saying you shouldn't get them, but you asked what we thought, and I told you. We can match wits, and play symantic games if you like ...

I've got my opinion, and you have yours ... Time to agree, to disagree

match wits, you can't even spell homie, symantic? I believe its semantic. don't be internet tough dude. its not worth it and the ghetto remark that originally offended me wasn't even made by you. so, yes we disagree.

Guys, 20's do NOT make a car ghetto. Some of you are so completely narrow-minded. The second you hear 20's you're thinking bling-bling & gangsta' wanabees.

IMO, if I had to chose between the two, I'd go with the C1's.

I vote for the c-5's.I personally think the thicker design of the spokes would look better.

Both wheels are too big, have way too much chrome, and are way too heavy.

20" or larger rims are for SUV's only IMO. Unless you're goal is to make your car look like an SUV which is exactly what 20"+ rims do when you put them on a car, and if that's the case you lack good taste anyways IMO.

Eh, I don't necessarily think that 20" wheels are automatically "ghetto."

But I think that 20" (and larger) wheels are TOO large for a LOT of cars, the A33 included. I've yet to see an A33 with 20" wheels that I didn't cringe at when I saw it.

On the other hand, I think 19" wheels on the A33 look just perfect (falconey's car comes to mind - and shameless plug for him - he's selling his 19s with tires for $350!). Not too large for the car, still allows for somewhat of a tire to be on the wheel, and a lot more choices in design (i.e. they're not all chrome).

It's not the size, per se, that makes it "ghetto"...it's when it's overboard to the point of tackiness and tastelessness that it becomes "ghetto."

Remember folks: Just because you CAN, doesn't mean you SHOULD.

And to chime along with what was posted earlier...I think the M45 19" wheels would be excellent:

Right on

Ok I do apologize if the word "ghetto" offended the OP, it wasn't my intention, but I still think 20"s in chrome is over doing it, maybe do-able with non-chrome, but that big in chrome is indeed tacky (as Meta put it =) Don't get me wrong, I do like chrome, but you don't want to go overboard.

You wanted our opinions, and that's what some of us thinks.

So you slap on on 20s, and then you have a show car?? Wow, thats insightful...

Maybe its something like slapping on a muffler, and then you have a sports car...

I say go with the C-1. They look better. I also think 20s are too big, but mine and anybody elses opinion doesn't matter, because ITS YOUR CAR! C-1s all they way.

The M Sport wheels look great on the I, too bad I can't afford them!!!
