also can anyone tell me if the side skirts from the 4th gen maximas fit or do they need to be modified some way

The side skirts should fit, the anything on the front or rear bumper will have to be altered.

They are a quite a bit larger than the I30 headlamps.

Either some sheet metal or plastic will have to go.

Hey man, that sounds really cool. But you'll have to do some serious modification, as the Q's headlights are much larger. The whole front fascia is, including the grille.

i'd just do a retrofit using your existing I30 headlights.

PS - you've got the rarest A32 imported to the US. Black/Black I30t were rare, ultra rare with the 5-speed. Apparently, it was more expensive for Nissan to dye their leather black, that is why there are so few.
