Avoid HomerMAC like the super aids, that dirtbag stole my OEM headlights. Theres a thread about it in Buyer/Seller Feedback so I won't delve into it here.

Check out the forums at HIDplanet.com, and there are other members here with better retrofit reputations.

If anything I would recommend the following:

A) Someone with a lot of retrofit experience (if doing it remote)
B) Someone with a A32
C) Someone local

I recommend B over A, mostly because the retrofitter can then test the aim of the headlights on the car before sending them out. Experienced retrofitters have their ways of getting around that, but it still might take a few tries to get it just right.

I recommend C if B and A don't work because with someone local they can actually fit the lights onto your car and check the aim, etc. firsthand.

PM maxgtr2000. He has plenty of experience serving as the org's premier retrofitter.

Or something like that.

Actually Meta, if you are able to level the headlight, you can adjust/measure the beam with a torque level. I really suggest you DIY, it is not too difficult and there is plenty of help around. Experiences retrofitters guarantee quality, but they do charge for it.

Yeah, but leveling the headlight isn't actually going to be easy.

What I mean is that you need to get the projector level relative to the original beam pattern. You can't always go by the floor of the headlight or reflector as being level. I suppose you could light up the headlight in its stock state, mark the beam pattern on the wall, then try to position the headlight precisely in the same spot in precisely the same way it was after you've retrofitted the projector and see if it lines up, but to me that just seems to leave too many opportunities for variation to occur.

But I do agree. DIY is fun and informative. Just takes some time and patience.

I'll be most likley starting it within sometime of this month. I got a couple of whole TSX headlights ballasts and everything included for $200. They even hooked them up and showed me they worked. I'm still thinking of buying another set of Cefiros cuase I really like these headlights and I don't want to mess them up and have no headlights.

I fit brand new TL Bi-xenon projectors in my headlights (see sig), so you should have no problem fitting smaller TSX's in.

Kinda off topic but the clear headlights like yours (97lude) but what years are those from? Becuase my headlights are the frosted and i recently sold those to a junkyard for a new dash. Where could I possibly get the clear ones?

They are from 98-99. Get them from Nissan.

NO... wholesaler... they knock about 40-50% off parts. Never EVER buy anything from your local dealer.

I've bought most of my 5spd. swap parts from the Nissan dealership here in Indy. But those are little things like the clutch pedal, slave cylinder, and bolts....oh yeah and a flywheel I'll look around and see what I can find. ANybody have any special website besides Ebay where they have found some?

not sure why i didn't think of this before, but if you get TSX's you realize you won't have highbeams? Which also mean you won't pass inspection(unless you put your stock halagen lights back in)

We don't have inspections here....and if you have the tsx's theyres plently of light just look at 97ludes right up and his pictures at night. freakin sick. Hey N3985 I go down to bloomington every once a while to chill with my friends. Do you have any knowledge of doing this kind of stuff?

wow no inspections? that must be nice

Heads up...I have TL bi-xenon's, not TSX's

If you have poorly lit backroads, I would suggest not getting single xenon projectors.
