Fuel Tank Size

What is the size of the fuel tank on a 99 Infiniti? If read somewhere that its 70l which is about 18.5 gallons but Im not too sure of that. If my fuel light comes on and I fill the car up. I can only get 17 gallons in it roughly.

It is 18.5G. Of course you cannot fill it completely. that would mean it was bone dry.

21-22mpg isnt too impressive compared to what alot of the new vehicles are getting and as high as gas is getting again. Im debating on whether or not to sell my car and get something else. Thanks for confirming my thoughts.

All I30/I35/Maxima from 95-2003/04(I35) have 18.5G/70L tanks.

by the time fuel gauge needle reaches E mark/lamp comes on, you have approximately 3.5+G of fuel remaining.

Well said! If you wait until your car is stuttering, then you should be putting in about 17.5+ gallons...
