Rust on the roof i30t 2000

Hi All,

Rust is forming on the left side of the moonroof on my i30t 2000 roof. I see a small bubble like formation and its rusting from inside.

Wondering if there is warranty from Infiniti for rust. Please give your expert suggestions as to what can be done to stop it from worsening.

Your car got cancer, depending on how long you plan to keep the car I would get that fixed so it doesn't spread. The drain tube might be the culprit. Is it draining?

It is on the side of the sunroof. I don;t know what you meant by draining. It is in a very early stage. Small bubble like rust has formed now. About 1cm diameter.

he means when water is on your roof and gets to the drains on the sunroof is the water pooling and not draining? if so that coiuld be why it is rusting
