Asking Price?

Im looking to sell my car because its an auto. I want something that is fun like a BMW M3 or maybe even an Audi S4. My question is, if i try to sell this car how much money should i be asking?

Its an 2000 I30. The car has a little over 140k miles. New tires with maybe 75% tred left and the front two struts have just been replaced. The only work done to the car have been mantience. I am the second owner of the car and im finally ready for something fun.

I was thinking maybe $5,000 or $6000, or is that asking to much?

What it's worth

The private party KBB value for your car is approx $6500
$5,000 to $6000 should net you a pretty quick sale.

Where are you located? I'm actually looking for a used I30...

"Automatic" and "fun" aren't mutually exclusive attributes....

Anyway, with 140K you could probably sell it quickly for $5000 or $6000, but if the car is in good shape you could possibly get $7000-$7500 for it if you're willing to wait.

The S4 isn't a great choice unless you enjoy spending lots of time at the Audi dealer btw.

$5000-6000 sounds right. 5000 would probably sell quick, 6000 you might have to wait a week or so.
