I also heard these were VLSD... but did they come in stick shift? Cause I have a feeling they only came in auto... I am thinking for my next car I want something like the Gen5 max but not sure If I want a Gen 5. I like it but I liked the look of the I35T a little more then the gen5 maxima...

also what is the diff between the T and the non T? I know the I35 is more sporty then the I30 though...

There is no I35T, only an I30T. None of the 5th gen A33 I30/I35s came in stick. The 4th gen A32s did come with a 5-speed with VLSD though.

I really like the stylin of the A33 I35, but wouldnt get one because its auto only...wasnt aware that they even had manual tranny A33 I30 versions elsewhere. Did that make a 6 speed I35 outside of the US as well ?

The 5M/T was available just in Europe. Buyers could choose between VQ20DE and VQ30DE. Sorry, no 6speed transmissions and 3.5 engines

Well, if you really wanted to, couldn't you swap in an MT from the 3.5 Maxima?

Though it hasn't been done, Yes, and the best part about that swap is that you would eliminate the stupid stupid stupid stupid foot E-brake

If there is one thing that I hate with a passion, it's that foot E-brake. I always have that "what if I push it in while driving" feeling. I know I won't do it. But everytime I drive my car, that crosses my mind.

A standard swap definately on my list of mods. Redoing the e-brake wouldn't be too hard. All you need is a maxima center console and most of the e-brake assembly. An acura TL owner did this a while back to his 2nd gen. They only came in automatic. If I remember correctly he used 3rd gen. TL 6 speed transmission and all other components. But for the console, he used one from a CL.

I think that all Maxima's/Cefiro/I30 and I35's have V6 engines and even the Japanese version with NEO DI motors has 6cyl as well...
