I was driving my '01 I30 this morning and as I went around a corner an orange warning light flashed briefly in the lower right corner of the gauge cluster. It went on and off too quickly for me to get a good look at it, but I know it wasn't the check engine light or the TCS off light. It could have been the slip light but the road was dry and I wasn't going very fast. This has led me to think that it may have been the washer fluid low warning light (I can't remember the last time I refilled the reservoir). Can anyone confirm that this light is in fact on the lower right corner? It doesn't come on during the standard startup check.

 

Check your owners manual, I'm sure the answer will be in there.

 

Already checked there. The diagram of the cluster doesn't show the location of the warning lights.

 

Was probably the SLIP light.

 

Quite possibly. I'm just trying to make sure that it wasn't a indicator of a problem with the vehicle.

 

How about just re-filling your washer fluid? It's quite possible that you won't even see the light again if you do so.

 

That is where the light is....at least on my '96 its right beside the Check engine light of mine thatz been on for a year or so
