Whats up guys I have a 96' I30t and I want to put a double din in my car so that I could put an extra xb360 I came by. Now what I need help on is what are good tv's that I wont lose the sound of my bose system? Which ones fit? What kind of modifications would I have to do? Has anyone tried putting a 360 in there car? And if possible maybe a afforable tv. Thank you everyone in advance.
Also I got a antenna from rx-8. Could I use this or any other small antenna instead of the 10 foot power fishing rod I have?

Well for one check ebay. You can find any kind of screen you want. Also might want to check out www.mp3car.com for some ideas.
uhhh.......screen is a screen... they don't have sound...unless you're getting a head unit with a screen...but then again...i said head-unit with flip out screen. You will need to add an aftermarket head unit if you want a double din screen for the x-box. What antenna are you talking about. radio antenna? Why not just re-use the stock one? hope my posts helped you, cause it seems to me that you have no clue what you're trying to do here.
there are multiple ways to go about it..get one system...with a flip out...
get a system like queenam a head unit, and a screen...
or you can get ones that are a double din screen with built in head unit.
we can't tell you what you want....you have to figure that out yourself. After you've figured out what exactly what you want to do...search for what you want....you get what you pay for in electronics....you can keep the bose as long as you buy the converter....
yes you can have the little antenna, you just have to run the antenna yourself.

you'll need a converter like this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/pictures.php?id=4993 if you wanna keep the bose speakers. tv's tuners will be useless soon, and the digital tv reception is horrible for mobile. Been thinking of trying to use a slingbox and computer to a screen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUD29...layer_embedded He's running off of a tmobile connection, cable Tv in your car
I have a '96 i30t and I installed a Kenwood Excelon DDX7015 a couple of years ago. Works great. It has a built-in DVD, I've added the Nav to it (which is made by Garmin), the television tuner (which will be obsolete after June), a Parrot Bluetooth and a Sirius Satellite tuner. It is HD-radio ready but I use the sat radio so much that I haven't added the HD radio on. The DDX7015 unit is a little outdated but they have newer versions of it out now. It's a double-DIN that fits exactly where the Bose was. I used the Bose adapter that made it simple to install with the Bose amplifier and speakers. It sounds great but not as Bass-intense as the stock Bose unit. I'm completely happy with it though.

Sounds like you're headin' for asskickville
But lucky for you I just did this to my '98 a few weeks ago. First off to be able to use the on speaker amps that the bose system has, you need the amp integration harnesshttp://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...12&refid=store
That will preserve the BOSE sound quality for you. And any double din unit will do, though we have a coporate double din which from my experience is the same mounting size, but the trim is a little bit smaller. Or maybe not cause I put in a 7 inch unit with a slide down screen. I had to shave the trim all around for it to fit correctly, but it mounted perfectly to the original brackets. For the shaving, I started wit some 1000 grit sandpaper, but being impatient as I am, I grabbed my girlfriend callus remover and went to work. But before doing that, I would say to make sure that you need to, cause like I said, my screen on my unit is a bit big, but lookin' at it when the screen is down it may need to be shaved either way. I'll take a pic or two if you want to see it. And for the antenna, all you need is a converter, and you can keep your stock. check this one out:

As regards a unit, I just got one off ebay, nothin' fancy. Has dvd, navi, ipod cord, bluetooth calling, analog tv, and cd changer hookup. Of course the interface isn't as pretty as most, but i don't give a sh*t about that, lol. But more importantly, it has a/v aux support, which is what you need for the 360. All in all, it was pretty simple, the woodgrain shaving took the longest. Good luck, hope this helps
