My I35 wont crank 75% of time - all i get is a "clunk" from the starter - I replaced the ignition switch & the car started beautifully for about a week & quickly returned to its same antics - I have reason to believe the lock cylinder itself or "tumbler" is what is bad - as it has a-lot of play & the key has to be in there just right or it wont start - ive got to jiggle it like im ace ventura to get it to start for me 3/4 of the time :O/ anyone have any experience or tips on this? stealership says w/ this type of thing i have to get all new locks/keys which is pricey - what do you guys thinks? im up for all & any educated suggestions...

Id say replace your battery and see if that helps
