Rear Turn Signal Bulbs Driving Me Crazy (What Kind Is It?)

So I've been putting new lighting in my I30. While doing this, I thought to get the chrome coated amber turn signal bulbs. I ordered the first set, but contrary to what Silvania says (T20 connector), mine is a bayonet. I was advised to get 1156 bulbs. Those just arrived, and they do not fit either! Yhe bulbs I got have two small posts in line with each other on the connector, while the socket in my car has the two posts, but they are not in-line. Can I change the socket that my car has for these bulbs? Or can someone help me with what kind of bulb I really need to order. I don't want to keep spending money on bulbs I can't even use (spent $30 already). Thanks!

I ordered those, and they are a different connector altogether. 7440 is a wedge, where mine is a bayonet (as is a 1156). Did Infiniti just screw up when making my car? lol

Looks like in another thread, someone said it is a 7507 bulb. Does this sound like it should be the solution?

The bulb number is PY21W. It is identical to the 1156 with the exception that the pins on the side of the bulb are at a different offset as the 1156. The 7507 is the same thing as the PY21W. I didn't like orange bulbs in my tails to i just stuck clear 1156 bulbs in it. You have to force them down a lil but they work nonetheless.

Edit: It seems the 1156 and 7507 run at different voltage and watts but I haven't have a problem with using 1156 to replace them on my I30t.

I already ordered the 7507 bulbs. I didn't see any possible way to get those 1156 bulbs in with how the pins are. These better work, or I'm just gonna leave the orange ones in. This makes >$50 I've spent on trying to replace these bulbs ($10 on a set of 7440s, $20 for two sets of 1156s, and now $24 for two sets of 7507s)
