Quick Question About Clearing Headlights

I am planning on clearing my headlights today by baking them. My question is when I remove the amber piece out, is it chrome back there or what? I did my searching before posting and read something about someone using aluminum foil, so that got me wondering, thanks

First of all those are not my headlights I had got them from infinitiforum.net from a forum member there. But I had done headlights cleaning and what I had used was the 3M headlight restore kit and worked great for me!!

I did the headlight cleaning yesterday and used (don't laugh) baking soda. It worked out well. Found it on youtube. Heard toothpaste works good too, rub it in like a wax. Tried those cleaning kits and comes out kinda bad if you mess up. Now on to clearing out the amber from the headlights. Any good tips not to mess up?
