'01 "blu" eye-30 retro-ish projector job

Whatup folks, just wanted to share my latest feat. First off, shout out to N3985, inspired me to do this. Jersey stand up, lol. But I decided to kinda follow in his footsteps. Grabbed some ebay projectors, blue ccfl rings, and some FX-R 3.0 projectors. Thought about using the TSX, cause I saw how easy N3985 made it, but decided to step it up a bit. And after some barbaric modifications, I finished them today. Still have to aim them and all, but rain's on the horizon until Sunday in Jersey, so I'll have to bother people until then. But wanted to show off my blue CCFL Rings. As far as I know, never seen anyone do this on here, so hopefully I'm the first . Anyway, enough chit chat, check the pics and tell me ya'lls thoughts.

I'll have pics of the light output and stuff up once this rain stops and I can run out and take some pics, prob on Sunday night

Nice but you should've done a legal color so you can run them during the day.

How'd the FX-R's fit?

Tru, but I dont really care, lol. My 5% all around tints aren't legal either, but 3 years in and no tickets, so I said what the hell. and I can always unhook them for long trips, which was my plan anyway. i just couldnt resist the look

Yeah, but I'm an against the grain type of guy. Once I catch a couple tickets, I'll change em to white, just wanted to be a little different. And they took some cutting with the dremel, and some creative mouting techniques, but i was able to use the housing, so it wasn't too bad. Better than I thought, cause once I saw the FX-R and the housin', I was like WTF, lol
