My I30

Here is my I30 with some cefiros and E46 projectors installed with some shroud, which I forgot. I also installed some 3" ZKW-R clear lens' I had to redo the projectors because they were aimed downwards way too much. I can say they are not perfect but way better than before and even better than having HIDs in halogen housing.

I am probably in the need of upgrading to some better projector in the near future hopefully before the end of this year, to the amazing FXR 3.0 with new cefiro headlights and new shrouds, so I might be getting rid of this one in place of that.

Here is some of the pictures I took of the projectors to show off a little heheh.

Here is a cutoff of the projectors:

The output of the projectors (6000k HID, lightwerkz 35w ballasts):

Tell me what you think about it and if you like it, it might be yours when I sell it LOL. Let's just say this is the best upgrade ever.

And you can probably see that I have white H3 SMD LED fog lights, and they suck. If someone wants to buy them please let me know. I also have some amber looking SMD LED H3 fog lights.

Looks great, I'm definitely interested in the set. I want to learn how to do my own retrofits. Did you also do your fog lights?

Yeah I mean retrofits aren't the hardest thing to do, just take some time and a whole lot of cutting at times. I didn't do my fog lights. I tried to open them, but damn are they hard to open.

Why not HID's for the fogs? Mine put out enough output to where I dont even run my headlights at night. Just halos and fogs.

Took the hit on it when I saw the output. I was trying to take it the easy way out that's why in terms of price, but that didn't happen... Also what I was trying to open up the fog light and try to remove the cover from the fog.

You know. Thanks for doing the clean up. Time to move on to bigger thing mmmm FXR lol. Can't wait for that, but before I can get that I need my coilovers haha.

Even after redoing the projectors in the housing the left side came out croocked in the cutoff.

They don't look too bad. You'll be able to compare with James' retro pretty soon. It's going out tomorrow. FX-R 3.0's with Morimoto 5Five ballasts and bulbs.

Thanks for the offer, but my dad is gonna be getting a radiator and installing it today. Sucks cuz it happened when I was driving to school I guess. And plus I never smelled the coolant that sprayed on the engine which scared me when my dad showed me it. Yes he can smell the coolant and I couldn't. So now Im paranoid watching the temp guage and it is not going up 3/4 temp that I thought it was because of that leakage.

Not if you're using Morimoto 50W bulbs. 35W bulbs will be washed out a little. I'm getting myself their 50W ballasts and throwing these 55W DDMs in my fogs.
