I have a question to ask everyone here since I never received an Owners Manual when I purchased my I30.

What is the correct length for the oil dipstick for a 1998 Infiniti I30? The one I have just seems too new for being a 98 and I don't want to drive around with the wrong levels of oil in it.

Another option would be to go to a local nissan or infiniti dealer, bring your dipstick to the parts counter and ask to see a new one, them compare them.

 

Thanks for the advice! The closest Nissan dealer to me is about two hours away though so I rather not drive that if I can find someone here willing to measure theirs.
