2002 Infiniti I35 Xenon Headlight
I am not sure how to post this question but I have searched the entire internet so if anyone can help please help me.
I have a 2002 Infiniti I35. I bought this used 3 years ago. The passenger side headlight lens is cracked and it is finally retaining moisture so they would not pass my car for inspection. A new xenon headlight is $1,500 from dealer. After I revived from passing out I have searched everywhere and can't even find a used one for under 500. My question is: Can these be converted to the halo projector lights and just replace the bulbs and ballasts from my old headlight to the new one? or Can I purchase a halo projector light with a 8,000k xenon HID conversion kit?
Thank you in advance for helping me. If anyone has another idea, I am open to it.

Those eBay projector lights use halogen projectors which use different bulbs than OEM.
If you go with those lights, you will need some of these adapters so you can reuse your OEM ballasts.

Xenon Headlight
I am even more confused. I am a single mother and I will have to replace the headlight assemblies myself. I have tried to research this on the internet but not alot about the xenon lights. I have an infiniti I35 with xenon HID headlights. My lens is cracked and will not pass inspection. So can someone tell me if this was your car which headlight would you get to replace yours? Does that adapter Chris told me about have to be used with either light? Any help is greatly appreciated it, I cannot afford a $1500 headlight assembly which is what the infiniti parts place quoted me.

True
That is true about the lights on ebay which was my second post about if I have the factory xenon HIDs which of the lights would I get and how hard to convert them? Or does it matter if I don't have xenon lights? Thanks for answering.

I have a 2000 i30t with the exact problem you have, my passenger side hid light is cracked. I have been trying to figure out how to fix this without going with the $1500 factory replacement. From what i understand to use the aftermarket projector lights we need to get the adapter described above, and a set of aftermarket hid bulbs to fit the new projector housings because they are designed to work with the stock halogen bulbs and not the factory hids. As far as i know if we get a set of 9006 hid bulbs, aftermarket projector headlights and the adapters it should all work. I havent done this yet but believe this is would be most cost effective solution as well as looking pretty good. I plan on doing it as soon as i have the cash but if you get it done please post pictuses

Has anyone tried replacing the plastic lens from the ebay projector headlights and putting it on our factory headlights? Mine stock ones are clouding, and I was thinking of buying the ebay ones and baking apart the lenses and swapping them if the ebay ones would fit. Could also be of use to the original poster as well.

Please Help with Advice
ok I am ready to try to buy the lights and I am still not sure what all I need to buy so I am going to put down what I think y'all have been saying and please tell me if I am correct......
First I will buy the JDM Chrome Halo Projector Headlights Lamps Assembly on ebay
Second, I will buy the D2S > AMP Ballast Adapters (Chris told me about)
Here is where I am not sure about what to order or not order:
Third, I will be either 1) buying a HID conversion kit or 2) using my ballasts from my factory installed lights.
Any suggestions? Also, any step by step instructions on how to put all of this together?
Thank y'all so much for your imput - I hope this is something I can do myself.

So
First you will buy the JDM Chrome Halo Projector Headlights Lamps Assembly on ebay
Second, you will buy the D2S > AMP Ballast Adapters (Chris told you about)
Third, you will be buying HID bulbs(bulbs only, not a complete kit) from amazon or ebay or any other source(tspny.com for ex) for the bulb type your jdm headlights require. This one for example tells you which bulb to use(H7 for low beam, H1 for high beam). So then you'd buy H7 HID bulbs to put in the low beam. And yes you will use your OEM ballasts with that adapter to make your HID bulbs work.

So ONE adapter for EACH H7 hid bulb. For the H1 you don't need an adapter or HID bulb. Just regular H1 bulbs.

I have exacrly the same problem like yours so it would help to know how you fixed it.
